3 Things That Actually Make Your Hair Grow

Hair not growing? Sick of purchasing product after product, only to find that none of them actually do what they claim? Sounds way too familiar. After many months of testing out hair products, I have a non-fail list of what has worked to grow my hair! And for extra credibility, I am biracial (half black, half white) with hair that DOES NOT like to grow. So for those of you who think that your hair just doesn’t grow due to your ethnicity, I would love to be proven wrong! Still don’t believe me? Check out my progress below!

ItWorks! Hair Skin Nails Supplements

As you can see from my previous product review, I was very satisfied with my results when using the ItWorks! Hair Skin Nails supplements! Read my product reviews here, where I measured 1.5 inches of hair growth in just 3 weeks while using this product! Unfortunately if you order these supplements from any ItWorks! distributers, you will get sucked into a three-month contract that you can’t cancel without paying a cancellation fee to end. So I order mine on Amazon. That way you can purchase ONE package of it, try it out, and decide whether you want to continue buying more or not!

Olive Oil

Many women swear by olive oil! I used it on my newborn’s head when his hair started falling out and it grew back really fast. Take a teaspoon of warm olive oil (microwave it for 5 seconds) and rub it in circular motions on your scalp. Let it sit for 30 minutes to an hour before washing your hair, and style regularly. Do this twice per week and notice amazing results in just a few months. I have also heard that coconut oil works great for this, but I am in the process of trying it out now and will get back to everyone on my progress!

Prenatal Vitamins

Whether you are trying to conceive or not, I have noticed that my hair grows SUPER FAST whenever I take prenatal vitamins! My sister has been using them for years and her hair is absolutely GORGEOUS. I’m no doctor and cannot say whether taking prenatal vitamins are safe to take while you’re not trying to conceive, but looking at the ingredients, there’s nothing harmful in them that I noticed, and if its meant to support a growing baby inside your body, it must be safe enough to use on an every day basis. And after 2-3 months, my hair grew almost 4 inches! So I recommend using these.
