Is the water you’re drinking safe? Recently 14 different brands of bottled water have been recalled due to a possible E Coli contamination. One of the Niagara bottling companies’ spring water resources tested positive for the bacteria, causing many health and safety concerns among bottled water suppliers and drinkers. To be on the safe side, they have recommended the companies voluntarily recall all of their bottled water supplies until further investigation.
The following brands have been recalled below. Be sure to check your water supply and toss out these brands, whether or not they actually contain the bacteria. Sources have also have recommended boiling the water for one minute and letting it cool prior to drinking it if you can’t toss and replace your supply. I know it seems a little harsh to throw away bottled water, especially if you have large quantities of it, but your family’s safety is not worth the risk and pain of poison. It is better to be safe than sorry, and by purchasing water from cleaner sources, you can rest assured that your family is safe and healthy!
