I recently learned about Melaleuca products after my mother in law gave me a bar of DELICIOUSLY scented soap, and after using it a few times, I totally fell in love with it. She also had this laundry detergent and fabric softener that smelled so good I wanted to eat it!! I was so happy to learn that they were all-natural and environmentally safe products, but a little disappointed to find out that these products were not sold in stores.
Apparently you have to go through a sales person to get them, which most likely involves you sitting for an hour or so through a sales pitch, and on top of that, you have to spend a certain amount of money on their products each month in order to get them. And top that off with a yearly contract that you’re bound to. And what’s worse? You have to write and mail them a letter in order to cancel. How complicated and confusing is that??
It got me to thinking, why can’t I just buy these products on my own? I shouldn’t have to go through someone who has to meet a quota just to have those lovely products in my grasp! What if I just want the bar of bath soap? Or to test out the laundry soap? How would I know if I even LIKE the products unless I can try them out individually and not be forced to spend a certain amount each time? Even when I tried buying just the soap bar on their website, they required me to join their club and sign up for a membership. Too much of a hassle, right?
So after a long search, I realized that I can purchase their products on other websites actually! For example, private sellers on Amazon have some Melaleuca products available, like the bath soaps, fabric softener, and haircare products. I would recommend just purchasing them individually online rather than going through a sales person, having to sit and listen to their pyramid sales scheme, forcing you into paying more than you want to spend, and signing a binding yearly contract with them, all for a bar of soap.
